WEPAC Endorses School Board Candidates

WDEA's WEPAC (Washington Education Political Action Committee) have announced the endorsed School Board Candidates running on Jahneke and Lindsey Peterson! We appreciate all of the time and effort from the interviewees, committee and candidates.   WDEA's Political Action Committee only interviews and endorses when there are contested races for school board members; otherwise there are no interviews or endorsements.

Good Evening WDEA Members!         I hope this email finds you safe and healthy! I wanted to take a moment to remind you that your Local Union is still here to help with any questions or concerns you may have during the COVID-19 school closure. We may not have all the answers immediately, but we will strive to get them for you.  I have been in contact with District Administration regarding some concerns already, and wanted to let you know the responses I have received from Dr. Bailey: 1. Google Meet Office hours:  Google Office hours are being  set up by the leadership of the school (including the leadership team) to meet the needs of students accessibility. For instance, Google Office hours will be different for Middle school as compared to K-6 because of the number of students that middle school teachers interact with each day.
